Wu Yue, a third-generation heir to the Wuzixiong Museum of Glass Art in Taizhou (Zhejiang, China), showed his mastery of glass etching at different cultural and art centers from an early age. In addition to traditional artistry, he began to explore his personal memories, mixing different techniques and media to capture the fragmented nature of human experience. In 2024, Yue exhibited the work The Nine Dragons Plate in the exhibition held at Palazzo Loredan during Venice Glass Week HUB. On this occasion, he was awarded the Autonomous Residency Prize, which will allow him to hold a residency at Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle in 2025. With this exhibition at Numero 51, Wu Yue embarks on a new chapter, bridging his past with the present.
