MAREVENTO

Some works from the "MareVento" project by artist Diego Racconi are presented at the prestigious Hotel VIU Milan. These works are inspired by the ocean and painted with photocatalytic colours on sail fabrics for offshore vessels, recovering production surpluses from textile companies. Recycling and creative reuse are the basis of the project's philosophy, which is also associated with a charity initiative for the sea. Photocatalytic pigments have the property of purifying the ambient air, improving our well-being, similar to the beneficial effect of sea air.
