Enter the Ghost, exit the Ghost, re-enter the Ghost

Karim El Shafei El Sayed's exhibition Enter the Ghost, exit the Ghost, re-enter the Ghost explores the figure of the specter as a presence that inhabits the fracture between the “no longer” and the “not yet.” Through installations, automatic writing, an urban model, and a pamphlet with a contradictory narrative, the project stages denied and continuously re-emerging possibilities. Language, space, and sensory experience construct a structural suspension that invites us to cross over into what, although not fully present, continues to act in reality.
