The San Fedele Museum. Itinerary of Art and Faith, has been enriched with a new section dedicated to one of the most illustrious parishioners San Fedele has ever known: the writer Alessandro Manzoni. In the sacristy –embellished with extraordinary wooden furnishings by Jesuit Daniele Ferrari, dating back to the first half of the 17th century – where sacred vestments were once carefully stored, it will now be possible to reconstruct the story of Alessandro Manzoni and his family through precious papers, registers, memoirs, and memorabilia – kept for many years in the parish archives and rarely shown to the public – the story of the life of Alessandro Manzoni and his family. An experiential and “discovery” visit to enhance the archival heritage of the church of San Fedele.
