Bodies on Stage, Teatro Linguaggicreativi and nctm e l’arte

present the live performance programme Bodies in the park, a project by Gabi Scardi and Andrea Contin conceived as a trigger for the temporary activation of Alberto Burri’s Teatro Continuo, one of the most radical public artworks in Milan. A traversable framework that establishes neither a frontal relationship nor a hierarchy between stage and audience, the Theatre comes alive for one afternoon through a sequence of short performances, introduced by live hosting that sets an open, fluid rhythm. With the naturalness of ancient theatre – its unity of time, place and action – and the vibrancy of a performance night, the project restores the Theatre to its original nature, an empathetic interaction between those who act and those who observe.
