The Boxing Gallery, Fondazione Arthur Cravan
The Boxing Gallery invites you to La fête permanente, the 100 years memorial for Robert Filliou (17.1.1926 – 2.12.1987).
The year-long program, launched on January 17 - the 1.000.063rd Birthday of Art - in Filliou’s hometown Sauve (France) brings the party to Milan. It features a series of surprise happenings and guest appearances of Sauvian artists, like Jacques Lin, filmmaker and collaborator of pedagogue Fernand Deligny, and Roger Katan, architect and kinetic sculptor, and Filliousophers like the artist and Filliou’s acquaintance Ramuntcho Matta, and researcher Emma Gazano.
The festivities are guided by Filliou’s idea that intuition should replace invention, and will include, among other intuitions, a soupe au pastis and spaghetti sandwiches. Hosted by Fondazione Arthur Cravan.
