We Inhabit a Space

Erica Portunato with company.mov presents Abitiamo uno Spazio, a site-specific action of instant composition between dance and photography. The intervention engages local dancers in a collective practice guided by physical tasks and perceptual prompts. The urban space becomes an active interlocutor and generator of relationships. During the action, photography documents and simultaneously constructs images emerging from the “here and now.” The project activates a shared experience that brings performing and visual arts into dialogue. Areas of interest: contemporary performing arts, photography, public art, participatory practices. Objective: to activate urban space through the body and generate collective vision.
