Amini and R & Company present the second edition of Woven Forms, a group exhibition bringing together eight artists and interior designers around the theme of the rug conceived as an “artwork”, a unique and collectible piece. Woven Forms II represents the natural evolution of a journey that began in 2014 with its first exhibition in Miami and continued in 2017 in Venice. Over time, the dialogue between the two entities has become more refined on both a conceptual and technical level, resulting in a greater command of the medium’s expressive potential: the rug is no longer just a decorative surface, but a sculptural and conceptual work of material complexity. New works by Serban Ionescu, Joyce Lin, Roberto Lugo, Luam Melake, Rich Mnisi, Marilyn Pappas, Zizipho Poswa e Sayar & Garibeh.
