The Gallery Frittelli Rizzo presnts the "Ethil Lesson" a performance by Cesare Pietroiusti and Iacopo Seri. The Ethil Lessons are participatories performances, events of performative teaching used as self-study method and collectiv debate through the wine. Refering to the symposium practice, a group of guests will be called to discuss about a cultural issue. We know when it starts but it's not clear when it will finish. Cesare Pietroiusti and Iacopo Seri will work on the theme "The relation between reality and rappresentation in the painting history from Caravaggio to Lucio Fontana". The lesson will be free and open to 30 active pertecipants who will contribute to the concepts production getting drunk.
At the end of the Lecture, the Frittelli Rizzo Gallery will offer for sale four large drawings (70x100 cm each) created by Cesare Pietroiusti in 2017-2018 with red wine (Chianti and
Primitivo). The sale, open to all who wish to participate, will be conducted as an auction, and the works will start at an exceptional starting price of €10 each. Anyone will have the opportunity to raise their bid.
