From April 14th to June 14th, 2026, the Cittadella degli Archivi of Milan presents “Something new: lights, lines, shapes”, a project by artist Sergio Limonta (Lecco, 1972).
The artist—invited by Director Francesco Martelli to dialogue with the equipped space of the Cittadella and the Archive—presents eight unreleased artworks, of medium and large size, representing four different fields of Limonta's recent research.
On display for the first time are artworks from the “woods” and ‘metals’ series, the “PVC” painting series, and an almost disassembled sculpture.
Among these works, “Senza titolo” (2026) was created specifically from disused materials from the Citadel.
