ASM AssoArtisti Confesercenti presents the first street concert of the “Mototrombe.” The series of sound sculptures, created by artist Aronne Pleuteri through the welding of scrap materials from the automotive industry, will be activated in the very place – and time – that inspired them. On one side, Milan, the city and its noises; on the other, the evident signs of the approaching end of times. The motorbrassers, together with their sonic materials (the instruments produce sounds that evoke the rumble of an engine, a war horn, or a mournful lament), will be in every sense directed by composer Dario Buccino.

A small, partial glimpse of the expressive and sonic potential of these unique instruments. Room 49, Brera Academy, during a thesis presentation about dromology. Credits: Aronne Pleuteri
