UPRISE di Fabio Giampietro

Within the transit space of La Porta di Milano UPRISE is born, a project that reflects on the transformation of the contemporary city and the progressive shift of the human perspective. It is a concept of ascent, but also of rupture: an upward thrust that challenges the stability of the ground, of architecture, and of the gaze itself. In UPRISE, the city rises, bends, and deforms, searching for new possible directions. The project is structured across two complementary yet opposing dimensions: physical and digital. On one side, large-scale pictorial works; on the other, the grand screen featuring the immersive digital version, presented in collaboration with the Meet Digital Culture Center. If travel is an ascent, UPRISE is the moment in which the city decides to rise together with us.
