Παρνασσός _Parnassus is a site-specific work created specifically by LETIA – Letizia Cariello for the Sala del Parnaso.
The project presents the work of the artist, who has lived and worked here since her formative years, for the first time in the city of Milan in a public museum setting.
The installation is a large, gilded aluminum structure, open on all sides, completely traversable by the gaze, in constant dialogue with the spaces of the room and the outdoor garden visible from the windows.
Parnassus was created in close dialogue with the Sala del Parnaso, which takes its name from Andrea Appiani's fresco on the ceiling of the Villa's sumptuous former dining room, the last work of the painter.
