Lead. Michela Forte

Fondazione Stelline continues its cultural planning with the Archivi Futuri platform, which aim to activate its heritage of memory and dialogue in different ways throughout the city. The exhibition Lead, created in collaboration with Galleria Lorenzo Vatalaro, presents Michela Forte's research, suspended in a fragile balance between transformation and transfiguration, descent and ascension. Through intense monochromes and surfaces engraved with scalpels and scissors, the artist transforms the gesture into an almost rituals practice: marks and scars that pierce the material to convey the tension between pain and strength, evoking an archaic, intimate and sacred dimension of femininity. Poetic artworks that breathe the eternity of grace and sublime.
