Due qui / To Hear: the film

The film Due qui / To Hear captures the production, installation and documentation phases of Massimo Bartolini's project for the Italian Pavilion at the Biennale d’Arte di Venezia 2024. Matteo Frittelli and the Altopiano crew, collaborators of the artist for many years, followed Massimo Bartolini, Luca Cerizza and the Pavilion team, Caterina Barbieri, Gavin and Yuri Bryars, Kali Malone, who collaborated on the music, Tiziano Scarpa and Nicoletta Costa who gave words and stories, the organ builders and the many other technicians who gave shape to the project: they watched and listened to them in moments of conception, production and installation of a complex artistic and curatorial project. The result is a choral portrait of a great collective project on listening.
