Sanja Milenkovic - Places of connection

"Places of connection" was born from a maturation of the artist who wants to express how social acts between individuals modify actions and reactions with others. The place no longer assumes a fundamental role but becomes an instrument of relationships even when they seem to be lacking. From an initial investigation of the movement and speed that characterize large cities, the artist's attention focuses on the individual as a community that interacts in different places. Not only an aseptic and frenetic city but a place of aggregation and stimuli. The artist's need to escape finds its answer in nature. No longer just the deafening noise of cars and sirens but the fluid sound of the sea or the quiet of a meadow.
