Francesco Somaini - Beyond the garden

The exhibition "Beyond the Garden", set up at the Somaini Foundation until May 31, addresses for the first time the "green side" of the Lombard sculptor's work. Drawings, sculptures, projects, architectural interventions, installations and photomontages document half a century of reflection on Nature, understood as "a good original place to preserve", marked by an aura of sacredness or an evocation of the primordial, which is even manifested in actions aimed at the fantastic re-creation of a Landscape. The guided tours offer the opportunity to discover little-seen works in an exhibition context enriched by an introductory video, created by Emanuele Greco, curator of the exhibition, and by Matteo Maraffi, filmmaker.
