Manuela Carrano - We were trees

In a dystopian world without civilization, nature lives a disturbing solitude. Questioning the possibilities of humanity's metamorphosis, the exhibition focuses on the relationship between the infinity of the cosmos and the depths of the earth. The exhibition itinerary is an immersion in the artist's imagination who, with unexpected and at times fairy-tale visions, explores imaginary territories, underground interconnections, ramifications and traces of time. The white pencil drawings and golden silhouettes come to life in a video accompanied by readings which unite arts, science and nature. The past takes the shape of the lifeblood − which feeds the future and, with a range of languages, ​​moves in search of an identity with multiple roots evoking the hope of a rebirth.
