Franco Raggi "Interni Morbidi"

Furry walls and beds with wheels, tables “for separates” and windows to look at the sea, unstable trampolines, soft columns, “case a-razzo” (rocket houses) and road stands on rails: 12 tapestries and a series of preparatory drawings and collages tell the ironic poetry of Franco Raggi's imaginary spaces.
Drawn on paper, then transposed onto canvas and made with Roberta Beghelli for the textile part, using the quilting technique, on a cotton canvas base doubled using different materials, thicknesses and colors - from felt to astrakhan, velvet to satin - these works show stylized spaces in which the human figure is absent, where the viewer is guided to discover the scenic objects that inhabit them, measuring themselves with their potential for play, inconsistency and instability.
