The catalogue Kazuko Miyamoto, edited by Luca Cerizza, Zasha Colah and Eva Fabbris, is the most comprehensive monograph published to date on the Japanese artist. From the initial post-minimalist phase to the rediscovery of natural materials and artisanal practices, from the interest in performance even in public contexts to the revival of traditional Japanese styles in the last years of her work, the volume investigates the eclectic and free nature of Miyamoto's work and life and her relationships with the New York scene from the late 1960s to today.
Speakers: Luca Cerizza, Luisa Lambri and Eva Fabbris, with an introduction by Angela Tecce, President of the Fondazione Donnaregina per le Arti Contemporanea.
