Octagon reopens its Milanese venue with a monographic exhibition dedicated to Odilon Redon, a seminal figure of Symbolism and visionary precursor of Surrealism.
The exhibition, co-organized with Ratio Artis, revolves around the series of lithographs “The Temptations of Saint Anthony” inspired by Flaubert, accompanied by a selection of other graphic works that explore the boundary between dream and reality, between myth and psychological introspection.
“Odilon Redon. Six dessins pour la Tentation de Saint-Antoine” is curated by Jacopo Mazzetti, with a critical text by Claudio Salsi, a key figure in Milan’s museum heritage.
