The weight of the Artist

Magico Studio presents The Weight of the Artist by Marco Antrodicchia.
The work consists of large aluminum sheets that preserve the real imprint of the artist’s body, generated through a physical impact on the material. The gesture, direct and devoid of representation, reflects on the role and the weight of the artist in contemporary Western society, provocatively reduced to a mere physical burden. A commodified presence immersed within the system, the flesh becomes a force that engraves the industrial surface, transforming it into concrete memory and tangible evidence of this condition of anguish.
