Crossings. Animation Practices Between Body, Matter, and Image

Crossings is a site-specific project that opens Spazio Laboratorio Fontanili to the public as a space for artistic research and creation. The project brings into dialogue visual arts, puppetry, performance, and contemporary animation practices, intertwining the human body, inanimate matter, object, and image. The space is conceived as an active and inhabited environment, where the public encounters ongoing artistic processes, light installations, performative devices, and live micro-activations. The focus is on gesture, presence, and the relationship between the animator and what is being animated, exploring animation as a practice of listening, care, and responsibility, and as a field of relationship between human and non-human.
