“Manifesto in the Present” by Francesca Marconi

Fondazione Corrente presents Manifesto al Presente, an exhibition by Francesca Marconi, open from 13 April to 30 June 2026. Developed through research on labour in the north-eastern area of Milan, between industrial memory and contemporary transformations, the exhibition brings together archival documents, images, and testimonies to reflect on the forms, places, and meanings of work from the post-war period to the present day. A visual artist attentive to social processes and local contexts, Marconi develops a practice that intertwines research and participation. Organized in collaboration with NCTM e l’arte and under the patronage of Fondazione ISEC, the exhibition combines a relational dimension with civic engagement, bringing history and the present back to the centre.
