Franco Albini Foundation and Studio Albini Associati are reviving a symbol in Milan. And they're doing so at a time when the world seems to need it most. A project that draws on Design and Art to generate an expansive wave of support for rhythm. From March 12 to April 30, 2026, at the Fabbrica del Vapore, "Cerchi di Pace" (Peace Circles) will take shape.
A five-meter-high installation that recreates the full-scale Olympic Totem designed in 1956 by Franco Albini, Franca Helg, and Albe Steiner for the 1956 Cortina Winter Olympics. For seventy years, it was a photograph of a model kept in the Albini Foundation archive. Today, it becomes a monument and a symbolic space to be traversed.
