The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum presents “Depero Space to Space. The creation of memory.”

The exhibition, curated by Nicoletta Boschiero and Antonio D'Amico and realized in collaboration with Mart, Museum of modern and contemporary art of Trento and Rovereto, presents over forty works by Fortunato Depero, dating from the 1930s to the 1950s, and unfolds a bold parallel linking, though across different periods, Barons Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi with the Trentino artist. All shared a common dream: to inhabit spaces suspended between the ancient and the contemporary.

Within the Neo-Renaissance setting of the house-museum, the rooms become theatrical mechanisms that welcome, integrate, and narrate Depero’s late Futurist research.
