Urban demons and mechanical saints

An exhibition of contemporary art featuring DJ sets. Skateboards painted with motifs ranging from the sacred to the urban imagination.
Urban Demons and Mechanical Saints began as a curatorial project exploring the relationship between contemporary imagery and private space. Daifunka’s works, created on skateboards, transform an object associated with the street into a pictorial surface, constructing a new visual mythology composed of hybrid figures, mechanical saints and urban demons. The exhibition unfolds in a private courtyard as a free-flowing, informal route, designed to be walked through.
