SHARE THE EVENT

For its upcoming exhibition in Milan in April, velo project will present Ever Astudillo's work for the first time in Italy. Astudillo was a key figure in the Cali art scene between the 1970s and 1980s. Working in both photography and drawing, Astudillo, together with Fernell Franco and Oscar Muñoz, contributed to the renewal of Colombian visual culture of the period, with a constant focus on the urban landscape and its suburbs. The exhibition is accompanied by a contribution by director Virgilio Villoresi, who expands Astudillo's imagery with a site-specific installation combining moving images and sound.
