Portrait of families

The photographic exhibition “Portrait of Families” by Alle Bonicalzi was created at the request of Agedo Milano, an association of parents with LGBTQIA+ children. It celebrates the beauty, strength, and determination of parents who, despite stigma and fear, proudly stand by their sons and daughters. The images capture smiles, intertwined hands, and renewed embraces, portraying the journey families have taken to reconnect, protect, and support their children in everyday challenges. Enriched by intimate reflections, the project reveals their transformative growth after coming out, opening the way to a more welcoming view of the world.
