Studiolo is pleased to announce “Le impronte del cielo,” solo exhibition by Joséphine Topolanski. A Paris-based artist born in 1998, her work focuses on the creation of a cult that blends ufology, religions, and technomysticism; a symbiosis of different cultures through which she nourishes a new, personal system of beliefs. With this show Topolanski seeks to capture the ungraspable, that which, by its nature, escapes any form of apprehension; that transcendent component of which direct experience is not possible, and which humans tend to fill by attributing a body to what has none. Based on these premises, the artist immerses us in a space composed of technological residues, devices linked to not fully decipherable cults, and oracular figures outside of a clear temporal line.
