The Art Pavilion and the garden of Fondazione Luigi Rovati host Lakapoliesis by Matteo Cibic, a new body of works by the artist that explores, with experimental languages, the cognitive abilities of the plant world. The project redefines the traditionally established relationship between animals and plants, overturning the anthropocentric view. The protagonists of the exhibition are sculptures made of wood, recycled aluminum, marble dust, and knotted wool, which give shape to a new 'vegetal nomenclature' through an unprecedented narrative. In the garden, the two large sculptures made of recycled aluminum—created with the support of CIAL (Consorzio Nazionale Imballaggi Alluminio)—tell the story of the immortality of this material and its ability to be reborn in multiple forms.
