NADA: Thierry De Cordier

“NADA” by Belgian artist Thierry De Cordier is an exhibition project conceived for the threepart Cisterna building at the Milan venue of Fondazione Prada. Running from 3 April to 29 September 2025 (press preview 2 April), the show brings together ten large-scale paintings from the so-called NADA series. The first works of this series arose from the intention to abolish the image of “Christ on the Cross” in a demonstrative way. The resulting abstract works are no longer a form of negative painting, but an ultimate attempt to experience the “grandeur of nothingness”.
