Università degli Studi di Milano- Ca' Granda
The University of Milan participates in Artweek with visits to the historic building of Ca’ Granda. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the magnificent Renaissance building, built in the 15th century as a hospital by order of Francesco Sforza and, after the Second World War, the headquarters of the University of Milan. Since its foundation, it has been a point of reference for the culture and history of the Milanese people. The ancient courtyards and the modern wing are places of encounter and comparison between cultures, which, on many occasions, have become privileged exhibition spaces, welcoming works of modern and contemporary art by artists from all over the world such as: Lucio Fontana, Jannis Kounellis, Adolfo Wildt, Mikayel Ohanjanyan.
