HIGH VOLTAGE

StayOnBoard Art Gallery presents HIGH VOLTAGE, featuring works by Gabriele Basilico, Andrea Chiesi and Günter Pusch, curated by Nicola Bigliardi. The exhibition explores the theme of industrial archaeology through an interwoven dialogue of distinct visual languages: Basilico’s black-and-white photography, Chiesi’s ink drawings on paper, and Pusch’s drawings and oil paintings on canvas.
Three autonomous practices converge around a shared visual tension, investigating the post-industrial landscape as a site of stratification between human labor, machinery, and nature. Warehouses, steel structures, and abandoned architectures emerge as suspended scenarios, where productive memory is transformed into aesthetic experience and critical reflection on contemporary time.
